Random Happenings

It has felt like a long winter. And without the snow to entertain us, we've had to get creative.

Hence, Carrot Man.

We are pretty proficient at making out own indoor fun, but we spent an afternoon sitting on the driveway watching this guy. We see them all around our neighborhood, but they usually steer clear of our yards until after dark, so this was a treat.

The kids have enjoyed a much more engaging teacher this year for their Friday U.S. History classes at the Embassy. Ahh, the sibling love... it about melted my heart to watch these girls jump in with consolation and cuddles when Summer was freaking out at the doctor's.

But alas, so much "sibling love" morphs into "tough love" resulting in black eyes and the like.
Busking Practice

And while I'll sorta miss these chilly rugby practice sunsets, we are pretty stoked to see the flowers popping up everywhere these days.
